In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was not the words of homo-sapiens. The Word was God, but languages the simulacrum. As imitation can be a form of flattery, humanity is a nice reflection(we resemble God's re-mark?) of the Word. Made in the image and likeness of Love and Truth, however, is a big bill to pay.

As it was much easier to look to the natural world for the measure of human worth, the picture of perfection was painted over. The Master-piece, as hidden, became worthless.

And so, the sham(e) of distortion began to masquerade as God's doing. Similarly, possession, manipulation, and deviation found their way vis-à-vis God's Word of abundance, transformation, and natural sustainability.

As our focus became down-to-earth and our sought-for treasure in the material realm, we traded the same for the simulacrum. Beauty is now skin-deep, truth is relative, and love for goodness sake is forsaken.

If this is not the same package that was originally shipped to the world, everyone has gotten shortchanged by the simulacrum which is counterfeit, or pretentious, human nature.
