Hello Everyone,

I enjoy making totes, purses, and bags from left-over materials from re-upholstery projects and re-re-purposed items at re-sale shops. This is a project I completed yesterday.

This is beautiful!

Very nice Keith! I like how many different pockets there are!

Dear Catherine and Zaley. Thank you for your cordial words. Both men and women ever admonish me with this phrase "you can never have enough pockets," in a bag, tote, or purse.  Here are a few images of a field bag I created from an old duck cloth jacket. I re-purposed a vinyl "coleman" bag (originally used to hold camping dishware) by stitching it into a pocket in the bottom of the bag. The vinyl bag then protects the bag against water.

That is just lovely! I enjoy making bags too!

Thank you Patrice. I look forward to seeing some of your creations.
