Community Friends Meeting and Cincinnati Friends Meeting are having a joint Meeting for Worship this coming First Day 11/6  at Piatt Park, the home base of Occupy Cincinnati at 10 AM.

A group of Friends from Friends Meeting of Washington (DC) have formed an ad-hoc committee/task force to help meet some of the spiritual & material needs of the local occupiers.

Occupy Poughkeepsie:

Friends from Bulls Head Meeting, New Paltz Meeting & Poughkeepsie Meeting involved in:

Meeting for Worship, pastoral care among occupiers, food (Moms & Dads working group), direct action, and legal observers.

Friends from Bulls Head & Hudson Meeting involved in the Quaker Bellydance Peace Team

Where are Friends not involved in the growing OCCUPY Movement????

Smiling your direction

Friends, March Spark of NYYM is online at http://bit.ly/wlWt1F  . The theme deals with how we can maintain our spiritual center while working against actions and policies we see as destructive. Many of the articles detail Friends' experiences in the Occupy movement and the movement against fracking.
