Primitive Christianity Revived, Again
Comment
I understand and bow to your awakening. When I had my final awakening in about 2000 or 2001, at that moment I immediately began working at becoming plain, changing everything about myself. I had to learn what it meant to be plain so I read books and observed, as we do. There are not plain people in my area.
Around that same time I had a friend of many years. My friend came to me and said "What happened to you???? Before you always looked like a News Commentator on television". I was horrified she had ever thought that way about me and never said anything - - I felt I must have been very superficial which is readily and easily expected and allowed in normal society which is where I still hold a job.
I changed my entire outer appearance so there would be no doubt or confusion that I was anything but plain. The appearance of the "news commentator" would never make another appearance.
I also put my degrees that cost so much money and I had worked so hard for, thru a shredder. I no longer needed them. I would no longer do that kind of work, and could no longer think the way I would be required to, to hold onto them. It was a normal next step in my progress. I felt as you do now . . . . I felt at peace. It was the right thing for me to do.
