I read your "plea to read the Bible together" in Friends Journal the other day. It was very well-written. Thank you.
I remember one time having someone tell me that "oh no, I know what the Bible says, Sodom & Gomorrah!" to which I paraphrased a line of Ezekiel back to him: the sin of Sodom was that of pride, fullness of bread, and not holding up the poor and needy. He asked if Ezekiel was in the Bible.
