What we have done with our horses is, mostly, driving them. We are hoping to get back into it soon. Much of our equipment is in northeastern New York; we need to bring it back soon.
I am using a treadmill, trying to control my blood pressure, so I can cut back on the medicine. This should give me more energy, for horses and other farm activities.
We have Haflingers, the drafty type. I wish I could do more with them, but I am 70 and less energetic than when I was younger. Regrettably, I have very little help to work with them. My wife would like to help; her Conservative Quaker parents farmed with horses. Unfortunately, she is 74 now!

By the way, a few years ago we sold a couple of loads of Haflingers to Old Order Mennonites in the Liberty/Windsor KY area.
