Thanks, it was i while ago I talked to you. I haven´t been on Internet so much for a long while, so I haven´t been active in onlinediscussions. But I feel that I have to nurture my quakerism with the traditional/christian roots (and Internet is one source for that) otherwise my trust in that Christ want _quakerism_ would die. And I have to follow Him :)
You too? I suspect my areas of adamant resistance are areas I need to rethink but don't want to. Given another half-century I suspect I'll have found occasion to rethink everything I thought I knew for certain, both about life and about myself and my place in life.
The way God knows me so much better than I do, it's almost like I've not even been paying attention. And here I think I'm so smart.
I love how people here keep pointing out to me, in a sweetly gentle way, that I'm not the only one learning as I go along. It's comforting.
Hi Isabel: great to see you here! Thanks for joining and let me know what you think. Feel free to post some pictures to the photo gallery. I've up some and started a "plain" tag, though I'm not sure that blue/red/yellow sweater on my son really counts, :)
