Primitive Christianity Revived, Again
Invest: Respecting the return on investment favored by the Court of Quaker Opinion, we put our money where our mouth is.
Divest: Helping the powerless to have a place at a politically-bankrupt table; the uneducated to get non-union wage jobs; and the disenfranchised to be assimilated into a culture of spending for the now, rather than saving for the future.
Invest: Deal with the world you're given.
Divest: And with the blessing of God for the poor, as "Blessed are the poor for theirs is the Kingdom"?
Invest: With an investment in the poor as the means to that end.
Divest: An investment for a return - but not to God's Kingdom, rather the hierarchical structures and institutional dominance of society!
Invest: We simply allow the needy to dress for the life that they want, not the one they have.
Divest: No wonder God's authentic servants prefer dress-down days.
To do business with Caesar you need lots of those little portraits of him, which you can collect from many many employees of Minions of Evil Inc, or alternately from a few people who've chosen the right parents and then invested their loot in that company.
For actually accomplishing some spiritually-desirable end, you may do better with fewer of these portraits and more hands-on volunteers, surviving... um, precariously, on Divine Paycheck Services as in Dorothy Day's Catholic Worker concept. This won't help you reach to the Ends of the Earth, true, but there might be also suffering within closer reach to address.
