Some of my fellow Evangelicals with Baptist leanings love to claim Spurgeon as there own man. Even those who turn a blind eye to his teachings on the evils of war and beauty of peace. He was a powerful preacher in his day. What some may not know is that he also was an advocate for peace. The following post is a collection of what he had to say on the matter.
