David-Stephen replied to Gene Hillman's discussion 'which "Primitive Christianity Revived, Again"'

"Thanks again Irene.     I offer comment on the mention of a 'missonary movement'.  Far from a 'Hellenist' per-se, the 'super-rabbi' was used to began that work.  One of the most startling and…"

Profile Information

About Me
Former anti-religious, anti-christian type who offered erudite intellectual complaints and accusations; but did NO real "seeking the stuff of God". The real "stuff of God" WILL NOT BE TELEVISED!! (generally..because there IS a 'present darkness' that has been trying to "LYNCH The Light of Christ, or turn it into LIES for ages.)
Visit to Russia at 16 (still soviet republic) flushed my small "america-mind" cleaner. Built & restored British motorcycles in the east village (before NYU owned most of it in the street-punk days early 80's) with Alexander Solzhenytsyn's eldest son Dimitri, & nice visits with Ignatz S. when he was studying at Curtis in Philly.
Mom sponsored 150 se asian boat people refugees after viet. War, and she helped them acclimate to life in north philly 'hood w/ block parties, food sharing, kid stuff, and a community-house.
Dad Quaker peacenik school-psychologist. CAMDEN ACTIVIST. Newton mtg. Haddonfield mtg. North Camden Leavenhouse.
77-79 Sanfrancisco punk-scene. Harvey Milk days & Good Karma cafe famous SF. veggie-restaurant work.
Recent Long distance bike-tours on a cruiser-bike with a jacket, bible, notebook & tarp. Work with "spirit-led" free 'vacation houses' for people escaping "trash-life" to get naked-honest with God, and 'clothed in christ' before they "od" or otherwise self-destruct. (free 6-10 month program)
Great joy comes from getting songs IN THE SPIRIT.
