About Me
I began attending a Friends meeting for the first time in November of 2014. Before that I had been without a faith community for over 5 years. I am 59 years old and just beginning to live my life! After decades of seeking, both enjoying and enduring various American Christian denominations, and sorting out my own connection to the Holy Spirit, I sure am happy to have found a Society of Friends, where I can be congruent.

I am a Late Bloomer, having just completed all of the requirements to be a Licensed Professional Counselor in my state. At the same time, I am trying to learn how to share and market my art. My primary medium is photography. I've been active on Instagram for 3 years, where I have learned the value of online community. My other interests include reading sociology, history, and memoirs. I am also an intermittent genealogist. There is much more to tell and I hope to find another place to become me, here.

Oh, and I am slowly adding Midlothian Friends Meeting library to a catalogue on LibraryThing.
