About Me
Joined Schenectady, NY Friends Meeting in 1970s. Have been in 15th St.near University of Chicago, and Dunelands Friends Meeting, Born in Cleveland, Ohio, with the River that Burned, Now enjoying sunshine in lower Rio Grande Delta near the MX Border. South Central was our Yearly Meeting, but we laid down the RGV Friends Meeting due to all breadwinners losing our jobs at end of Bush Administration. Member and attender in FGC Meetings: in Manhattan, KS, and Meetings in Oberlin (OH), and Heidelberg, Germany with my partner, Volker. Wonderful online Meetings for Worship now, with Zoom, via Woodbrooke, and Quaker Universalist Fellowship. Formerly a member of Friends Assn, for Higher Education, I am the author of the _International Casebook in Construction Ethics_ (begun with a grant when I taught Engineering Ethics at Kansas State Univ.and Purdue), which I am attempting to place in a new publishing venue. This book reflects Quaker Earthcare values and concerns for the integrity and transparency of the process of building sustainably and ethically in an era of increasingly extreme weather due to androgenic warming and resulting climate chaos. Need some HELP with this! Contact me care of my email or phone, drsarahbishopmerrill@ICloudlcom .... 9562301263. This timely book is my last labor of love professionally. Enjoying "retirement," we volunteer in wildlife refuges. I was privileged to help Northern Triangle Asylum Seekers, with the Angry Tias and Abuelas here on the Mexican Border. Come visit to get to know our many rare birds and native plants!
