An alternative to church planting

After almost 30 years in some form of Christianity includingevangelical, anabaptist, house church, intentional community and aseminary degree, I have been outside of the "church" for about fiveyears. I would like to consider an alternative to church planting -something outside the institution and without traditional forms, language, and structures.I would like to be involved in something focused on community building, spirituality (centered on the teachings of Jesus but open - perhaps Quaker…See More

My wife and I were instrumental in establishing the Rockingham Friends Fellowship back in the mid-Seventies. At that time I taught at EMC.

My knowledge of the Fellowship of Hope (?) is based mostly on articles in the Daily News-Record. I had met Harvey Yoder, but didn't know him well.

I remembered your name because it is not a typical Mennonite name. Nowadays, some Christians from the large Slavic evangelical population in Rockingham County have joined Mennonite groups, so the name Czecholinski wouldn't seem as unusual as it did then.
