I'm interested in . . . how the many different groups of Quakers . . . have a different  view God? And if they love God  . . .  And . . . Why? Will God keep men forever in Hell?   Have they ever met…Continue

It's been interesting?

Well . . . in Pa. the leaves are now out in full force.

When this happens . . . I have to work more hours to get my work completed.

So . . . I have less time to spend on the computer.

And another organization has asked me to be an administrator  for their internet forum.

So . . .  it  looks  I will have a busy summer.     I've got to choose between this forum and the other.

I should be back in November.…

They can skip paragraphs or even chapters if they wish.

The blind cost of Hatred

The reports on the murder mission that keep coming out . . . are constantly changing.  It now seems . . . the chopper that malfunctioned and was destroyed . . . was a new secret weapon with stealth technology.  And the accounts of the slaughter are increasingly more and more gruesome and savage.    The news media now reports that no more information about the slaughter will be released to the public.  …

Hi Rickey,

Thanks for the friendship gesture,I am on a ever unfolding spiritual journey as is most likely the case with most of us,When I was moved to remove to bullets from my gun I was still a officer and still patroled harlem, yet at the same time I was also a ordained minister. Its quite a story and in my new book. There was a old movie with John Wayne Where he meets this young Quaker girl, and they take his gun from him, well mine was perhaps the same story with out the girl.

Please if possible include me as a friend on this site, also if you would pray for my family and I,and I will do the same for you,

Blessings,

Eric

Hi Rick, Well I'm no historian. I have some knowledge of 17th century England in terms of the emergence of the Quaker movement but beyond that it's a bit patchy. There was only one war in English history that was formally called a civil war and that was the one fought between King Charles I and the English Parliament (Cromwell et al) in 1640s. I think England as a nation was pretty much a unity by the time of the Norman Conquest in 1066 but Scotland was in and out of the union at different times up until 17th century. Stuart.

Hi Rickey, It was the burning at the stake of individuals for 'heresy'. During Mary's reign (1553-1558) a number of Protestants were burned in Lichfield when Catholicism was temporarily re-enforced. The final burning in England took place in Lichfield during the reign of James I in 1612. Edward Wightman was a Baptists executed for his religious beliefs. Fox would certainly have been aware of these events. Blessings, Stuart.

That's a great questions. I'm not sure. I have about a year and a half to figure that out. I might pursue a pHD in religious studies, maybe work with CPT, maybe something else. I'm just trying to be authentic and present where I am.
