I really like your pictures. Thanks for sharing them here. I thought the mountains here were a nice size, but those out west are even higher! It really looks like a beautiful place in British Columbia, Canada. The highest point in Virginia is Mount Rodgers: 5,729 ft and those look much taller yet still!

Blessings to you.

Dear Rob,

Thank you for your thoughtful reply. It is a comfort to hear from someone who is called to something similar... I know what you mean by it being funny to live out your faith by doing what you love. I struggle with the concept, knowing that the bible gives examples of so much more obvious and straightforward ways to live out His will. I hope that I will someday come to peace with that.

If I am ever in BC I may seek you out to see if I can visit your ranch, and maybe take a class.

-Meg

Dear Rob,

I'm a convinced Conservative Friend in VT, U.S. I'm only 20 and studying dairy management in college, and was delighted to see someone who is both a rancher and a conservative quaker. Especially with sheep! I feel a great affinity for those woolly creatures. Anyway, I just wanted to message you because I'm curious about how your faith ties in with your work, if you feel comfortable to answer.  Thank you and God bless,

-Meg

Hi, Rob

Your page is looking pretty "sprucey" to me now, especially for a plain-minded Friend!  How wonderful that you have sheep!  Always a half-dream of mine.

Looking forward to getting to know you.

peace & blessings,

Margaret
