I am a thinker, teacher and activist for peace, justice and deep ecology. The creator and director of the Workshop programme for applied spirituality, founded in 1983 and has had over 5000 participants to date (www.workshop.org.uk). I am a founder member of the Anabaptist Network UK, one of its Trustees, a member of its steering group and the facilitator of the Anabaptist Network of Organisations, which creates a space for radical Jesus-centered activists (not just Anabaptist ones) to share together and support each other (www.anabaptistnetwork.com). I am also an Associate Tutor at the Woodbrooke Quaker Study Centre in Birmingham UK (www.woodbrooke.org.uk). I am the author of the book 'Fingerprints of Fire, Footprints of Peace: a spiritual manifesto from a Jesus perspective'. I have just launched a new website exploring ‘Christian Animism’ (www.christiananimism.com), which will also be the theme of my next book. I was born in India, where my parents were missionaries, and spent my formative childhood years in the foothills and forests of the Himalaya. I love interfaith conversation, world music and every kind of wilderness.

Your "About Me" statement is very interesting and "solid". I look forward to your input here.
