I think it's very pertinent.There is a very good book on the subject from the early 70s called "Dare to Discipline" it was republished in the late 80s or 90s.

You certainly seem to have struck a nerve with Forrest on the matter. I suspect the topic strikes a nerve with many Baby Boomers. It's very hard for them to understand.

My main problem w/Facebook is the flip side of it's raison d'etre: that it's private conversations among networks of friends. Facebook is fine but we need to be doing more talking in pubic and not being afraid to articulate the good news we've been given.
