Hello, my name is Joshua. I also go by Josh. I have brown eyes and chestnut brown hair. I live with my uncle. I have a Siamese cat named Momo. I am an Evangelical Friend (Gurneyite Quaker). I am a pescatarian and one for the environment. I am also a huge fan of the Beatles and I own lots of R.L. Stine's Goosebumps books and other books.

In calm and cool and silence, once again

I find my old accustomed place among

My brethren, here, perchance, no human tongue

Shall utter words; where never hymn is sung,

Nor deep-toned organ blown, nor censer swung

Nor dim light falling through the pictured pane!

There, syllabled by silence, let me hear

The still small voice which reached the prophets ear;

Read in my heart a still diviner law

Than Israel's leader on his tables saw!

The Quaker of the olden time!

How calm and firm and true,

Unspotted by its wrong and crime,

He walked the dark earth through,

The lust of power, the love of gain,

The thousand lures of sin

Around him, had no power to stain

The purity within.



With that deep insight which detects

All great things in the small,

And knows how each man's life affects

The spiritual life of all,

He walked by faith and not by sight,

Breathe in the quiet purpose of this place;

Through outward stillness, seek a calm within.

Here we can find forgiveness and forgive;

Here feel the healing miracle begin.


Breathe out the busy world, the teeming mind,

The follies, fears and failures of the week;

Breathe out contention, pettiness and pride,

And wait in trust for that of God to speak.


Breathe in communion, friend with quiet friend,
