I had a dream last week which calmed an apprehension I've been having as to the increasingly militant and nationalistic tone certain American denominations have been leaning towards in the last decad…

I loved your statement about how Quaker worship is the best chance for peace between world religions! Especially in this media saturated world, names for things are so charged with personal emotion. Often extremely disparate people become next-door…

Profile Information

About Me
I am an unaverage, uneveryday Joe who enjoys his garden in the summer and his books in the winter. I have been searching for the Inner Light before I was even familiar with the term. I attended my first Friends meeting in January 2009 and have been enriched more by the silence of friends than I have of many a sermon I've listened to in the past. My father is a Lutheran pastor and my mother is a saint (aren't all mothers saints?). I feel blessed to have encountered the Louisville Quakers!
