"I was just talking with a Presbyterian friend the other day about why the Catholic and Orthodox churches have managed to stay relatively united when Protestant and other churches tend to split whenever theological issues arise.  He is a strong…"

David Watson replied to Margaret Banford's discussion 'Quaker monks\nuns...' in the group Convergent Friends
"Without trying to decide to what extent I agree or disagree with it, it is interesting to note that many people tend to view Quakers as living a pseudo-monastic life (at least those of the conservative branch).  Since being…"

Profile Information

About Me
I am currently studying literature at Marshall University, and plan to continue on with these studies after graduation. I am very passionate about the community service group I belong to, and I am an adult volunteer for the BSA.

I attend a small local worship group that is affiliated with the Ohio Yearly Meeting (Conservative). I find the message of Friends very inspiring, and I hope that I am able to help show people the value of the Quaker way of life.
