About Me
Part of Illinois Yearly Meeting via formal membership in 57th St. (Chicago_ which also belongs to Western YM.
Worshipping among Friends in Columbia, Missouri, since 1995.
Met many of you (omcluding Martin!0 in the course of helping plan the conference in 1997 on "Quaker Volunteer Service and Witness" in Burlington, NY. More recently (Feb. '09) was at a similar consultation at Pendle Hill. (Epistle linked on FGC website) and now serve on the advisory group for Quaker Volunteer Service at 57th St.
Wonderful experiences during 7 years service as a rep from ILYM to Friends World Committee.
Way, way back (1967-1973) I worked as Peace Education Secretary at the Chicago office of AFSC.
And before THAT, various experiences in early-'60s civil rights work.
