Hello, Contessa,
God works in mysterious ways! I don't know why I, a so-called liberal Quaker, was perusing discussions in the Christianity group on Quaker Quaker today. But I was, and when I read your message in a discussion about visiting different meetings, I nearly dropped my teeth.
I have been anxious the past two days about choosing a workshop at the 2011 Gathering, because I met someone last year who taught me many important things about faith but also caused me very deep pain. And there you are, mentioning the same person! I needed the reminder that it was nothing personal, so my anxiety about being in a workshop with this person can be safely tucked away.
Thank you, and Thank the Eternal Spirit for leading me to your message of two years ago. I feel such a sense of relief. I continue to feel deep compassion for this person, but no longer need fear personal attacks. Because it's nothing personal. :)
Yours in the Light, Paula
