Allison Wolff joined QuakerQuaker's groupWhat we have done with our horses is, mostly, driving them. We are hoping to get back into it soon. Much of our equipment is in northeastern New York; we need to bring it back soon.
I am using a treadmill, trying to control my blood pressure, so I can cut back on the medicine. This should give me more energy, for horses and other farm activities.
By the way, a few years ago we sold a couple of loads of Haflingers to Old Order Mennonites in the Liberty/Windsor KY area.
We have Haflingers, the drafty type. I wish I could do more with them, but I am 70 and less energetic than when I was younger. Regrettably, I have very little help to work with them. My wife would like to help; her Conservative Quaker parents farmed with horses. Unfortunately, she is 74 now!
