Comment by Emele Williams on 7th mo. 13, 2012 at 3:51pm I used to live on Mackinac Island during summers (which doesn't have any car travel, it's either by foot/bicycle or horse drawn vehicles), and I used to do a lot of hiking and free climbing when not working - hence the shoes. Lots of great places to go off-trail. I do know where you're talking about though. My brother went to boarding school in VA, Keswick, I think? We did a lot of exploring around the area, beautiful country!
Comment by Timothy Bruffy on 7th mo. 13, 2012 at 2:26pm I, also, like this photo! It reminds me of a cabin in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The one location I recall is the cabin on Sharp Top, or the Peaks of Otter in western Bedford County in west central VA.
I like the rustic appearance of the timbers. There are many such places scattered about this area. . .
