Hi Kristen,
If you Google around you should be able to find some B&Bs. When we've researched before there were a slew of them. We've stayed at these places:

Both were welcoming hosts. While we were obviously a straight nuclear family we had enough lifestyle eccentricities to go around. As with any good B&B, you're also guesting with other guests so you never quite know where morning conversation will go.

We were looking primarily for farms so the boys would have some concept of where milk comes from so I'm not sure either of our places is what you're looking for. But you'll see that Lancaster County has a pretty extensive B&B network that's can be navigated online.

Thank you. I had found a bunch of B &Bs online, but many were much more elaborate than I had hoped. I was asking here in case folks knew of smaller, simpler places that might not have much of an online presence. :) I will resort to the fancier options if needed.

Try Osceola Mill House. My husband and I have stayed there a few times and it's in a quiet setting next to Amish farms, but still close to Rt. 30 and the major areas. It's more near the Paradise area. Very nice, a bathroom with your room, but no tv's, just one in the main living room downstairs for all to share. It was very quiet to stay there and we woke up to hearing horse and buggies and a few cars is all.

They may also be able to arrange a meal with an Amish family if given advance notice as well!
