Primitive Christianity Revived, Again
Friends of all the Theological Leaders to stand out in our country only one man recieved a day devoted to him and we as friends have a great nonviolent example to look to in him .the minister Martin Luther King Jr
as a simple and peaceful way to honor this man I leave you friends with these quotations from his sermons and speeches for reflection and discussion:
"If we are to have peace in the world ,men and nations must embrace the nonviolent affirrmation that ends and means must cohere. One of the great philisophical dates of history has been over the whole queston of means and ends .And there have always been those who argued that the end justifies the means, that the means aren't important. The important thing is to get to the end,you see"-from A Christmas Sermon on Peace
"Well I don't know what will happen now.because we have some difficult days ahead .But it doesn't matter with me now.Because I've been to the mountaintop. And I don't mind.Like anybody I would like to leave a long life .But im not concerned abot that now.I just want to do God's will"-from I see the Promised Land
"Yes Jesus ,I want to be on your right side or your left side, not for any selfish reason.I want to be on your right or best side ,not in terms of some political kingdom or ambition, but I just want to be there in love and justice and in truth and in commitment to others ,so that we can make of this old world a new world"
