Shall we speak of what has been described by Cleopatra as "the stroke which hurts and is desired"? Shall we wonder at Francis Bacon's feeling "like one that is wounded in hot blood, who, for the time, scarce feels the hurt"?

Alas, proof of human concupiscence, almost a month passed Feb. 14, is the number of views this will get!!!

I am astounded, Friends, at how these tributes to death are so readily, if morbidly, available to the curious.
