So, The Veterans for Peace  here in Humboldt where I am visiting are repairing Albert Bigelow's boat.  Thought it might interest someone who hasn't heard of it. http://www.heritech.com/goldenrule/goldenrule.htm

I meant to come by especially when you had that plank party, although Quakerly speaking the whisky wouldn't have been happening.  I am headed out of Humboldt soon, but hope to see the work another time.  I am happy that this story is getting out to the Friends community here and I have shared the story with others who would be interested as well and always people are very excited about this.  I am glad you spoke up and shared more at this forum.

Hi  Skip Oliver,

I pitched the Golden Rule as a story idea for This American Life.

Thanks Laura !!

Very thoughtful of you!  We need all the help we can get.

We also have two Op-eds in the works.

         PAX,   Der Skip

I just got back an automated response from them, so I don't know.   I sent them a brief background and some links.  I certainly think it could fit into their format, especially if they can find some interesting characters to interview.
