Event Description

The African Great Lakes Intiative - AGLI

of the Friends Peace Teams

 

Workcamps are open to all ages. Families with children have attended together. No special skills needed.

Burundi - Workcamp will be in a poor area of Bujumbura at the Friends Women's association Clinic. The team will likely be the construction of a security wall. See more about the clinic at www.fwaburundi.com

 

Rwanda - Workcamp will be in Gisenyi, just across the border from Goma, Congo. The team will complete construction of a conference hall at the Friends Peace Center. The team will also help with learning and practice of English in the afternoons.
